SMitty, The MAxflow is called an Inline reg. but it has Low pressure springs in it meaning it will only regulate into the gun from 0-400 PSI

The Silver thing under the barrel of this impulse is an LPR. What it does is lowers the pressure going to your noid/hammer assembly, BAsicly meaning the air that moves ur bolt can be like 50-70 PSI LOWER then the air traveling down ur barrel to shoot the ball. This is good incase you have a mis-fed ball as it will increase the chances of the bolt "boucing" off it and allowing the ball to fall into the breech.

As for those grips, I believe they are made by the same peeps that make the I-frame. if u plan on keeping the maxflow you have on the gun, Then you can pick one of those up.

The whole thing with the hammers and stuff is internal grain weight. Basicly an impulse will shoot it's best with different weights insie of it, thats why they have mid weight hammers, brass hammers,k ect. ect.
If you really just want 1 easy thing to install. I'd sugest the Ndz hammer assembly, It's comes pre assembled w/ a new hammer housing which increased efficency, a Slick shot hammer shaft, and a mid weight hammer.

That's wut the hammer assembly looks like

Also, If you are intrested in getting rid of that Bottomline maxxy you got and want one that replaced the fore grip on your gun, you will need to purchase a ASA. These are simply installed on the gun and allow you to put ne type of Reg you want on ur gun (cp, sidewinder, gladiator, ect.)

There's the Ndz Vert. ASA

All those items can be found at www.newdesignz.com and purchaced at www.x-paintball.com
