That's your best bet right there. Otherwise the striker will just keep going back and forth and recharging from the gas system.
If anything, check how well the trigger frame and the gun body fit. If it's not screwed in all the way (relatively tightly) or the trigger frame design is significantly different from your old one then it will have a gap between the sear and the striker, causing it to miss catching it and thereby have your gun shoot like crazy until you manually hold the bolt.
