omg i think i killed my hpa tank...

Okay, it's really not that bad.. but it was a good attention grabber...

I have a 68/4500 Pure Energy carbon fiber tank which i bought used off of ebay which came with my gun, a 2k4 autococker. When I got it from the mail, the tank worked fine, the gun worked fine, except the guage didn't work on the tank, so I sent it into PE and got it fixed for 20 bucks and shipping.

Well, I'm a guy who likes to tinker, so i stripped my gun down, looked at all the shiny parts, and put it back together. However, when putting it back together, i had to retime it, and although I can eventually stumble through the process, my tank began to leak out of the pin valve, and the guage on the bottle stopped working, again, (got stuck at 1500 psi). I can't find any damaged O rings, no visible damage or scratches anywhere on the tank.

My question is, what could be making my tank leak?, do i need to do any regular maintenance on the tank itself, ie lube orings? and, can i replace the pressure guage on the tank myself, or do i have to send it back to get it fixed again?

Thanks for any help.
