Vikings shoot very nice. They are extremely consistent and efficient and built very durable. If you don't mind the lack of milling or somewhat bulkyness it would be an awsome choice.
I would consider the proto though (I know you said you don't like it). They are cheaper than DM4s and perform almost exactly the same. The Proto is a little more efficient than the DM5/4 because of it's higher operating pressure. It weighs less too. I would get one from the matrix center w/ Musashi 3 programming for only $975.
Or you could go with the Ego like I am
