I agree 100%, so this being said, there is absolutely NO point into upgrading from a working BE (or other lower brands) to a 98custom if you dont plan on modding it.....the only logic would be to go straight to higher end makers (electros, bla bla bla..)

edit: saddly all the kids (and some older ones) around here are swapping there Orions, Avengers, Mercury G2s and other low markers for 98customs. I see it as a good point only because the local pb shops are making profits and expanding but on the other hands, the pb game quality and challenge is going nowhere,,,,,,,,,,WE NEED CHALLENGE to keep the game interesting.
