well since most of the other people were a little rude well more or less dicks and didnt answer just flamed
first off
your gun will have some recoil, it will push back aginst you. thats a given, anything that shoots a projectile forward will push aginst you.
but more important
sniping in paintball is just basically sitting and waiting for someone to wait to walk into your range/vision. it can only be done in woods ball, as its the only place you can hide. No matter what anyone tells you all guns shoot the same distance, tippys dont shoot any farther then an autococker or a mag, no matter what (with the exception of flatlines, which put spin and make it fly farther). You cant pick someone off from accrost the field unless youre real good at lobing shots.
saying you are a sniper in paintball is often frowned apon bc you look noobish and normally involves a lot of sitting waiting for people. but if you play woodsball, are good at concealing your self and can actuly get people out then i guess you could say youre a sniper but i still wouldnt say that
