The ball will drop depending on what velocity you are shooting at. If it seems unnatural it could be a result of your gun putting top spin on the ball that causes it to drop unnaturally. I shoot an Xtra and have never had that problem, but I use a J&J ceramic barrel. If you don't have an aftermarket barrel as of yet you may want to invest in one. You may also just have some moisture in your barrel from broken paint or something which is causing friction on the ball and putting spin on it that way. Just some suggestions.
