There are two different RT's Alpha, actually three if you think about it.
The RT (1996)
The RT Pro (2000)
and now the RT Custom
The first two came with the RT Valve. The x-valve didn't come out till 2002, so the RT's made after the release of the X-Valve all came with X-Valves stock. So you have to look for the little things to see the difference between the RT and the RT Pro.
Actually, i believe the original RT's had the vented front, much like the minimag, but instead of horizontal lines running down the barrel, it had circular holes.
