mini cocker conversion

I just did a mini conversion on my turtled oracle thought I would share the process incase anyone is thinking about it.

First I started off by threading the air port further in so that after it was cut down, I would not have to start new threads. Then I chopped down the front just after ASA air hole. I took a little time with a file to get the final cut level from all sides.

next I added the mini front block w/ 15* ASA

Next I had to shorten and tap the pump arm. This was actually the most challenging part.

Tapping it was easy, but actually making it fit was the challenge. A pump arm has 2 bends as most of you know. so that the force from the ram can be transfered in a straight line for the back block. This pump arm is extreemly short. and it did not line up quite right. I had to bend it alot to get it to funtion correctly. With that short of an arm, it had to be very precise.
The end result I think was worth it. no leaks and its ripping just like it was before I started.

Before

After

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I made a snatch grip out of some leftover aluminum too. can be seen in the last pic.
