A well known pnuematic accesory (various manufacturers) used in industry for years. But by adding it to the cylinder/ ram/ piston of a paintball marker it allows it to cycle faster. The Quick Exhaust Valve allows waste gas straight out of the ram, so it doesn't have to flow back through the soleniod/ control valve.
First seen on Autocockers, the Ego has them fitted as standard, and they are even being fitted into Ions to get them to cycle faster. By adding a QEV to the cylinder/ram/piston of a paintball marker, it allows them to cycle faster
