Cockers can be really nice guns, and you like to tinker so that might be a good way to go. But in my opinion they are too much of a hassle lol. In the 3-4 hundred dollar range I would go with an Ion. If you are looking to spend more than that I would definatly look at borgs, or possibly used dm3's or dm4's, you can find really good deals on those right now.
