Excellent, now we are getting into the details....

Therefore I was correct as stated. Nothing over looked other than you not reading the top of the page.

And I was not bullying anyone, just making him aware the he was open to an infrigment lawsuit should the patent holders decided to enforce. They likely wouldn't but a court appearance a day lawyer cost would be enough to hurt him finacially more than I think he would be prepared for.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

The present application is based on and claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 60/252,230, filed on Nov. 21, 2000

But thanks again, I didn't think I could get you again in the same day but woopie for me.
Oh wow, a provisional application? Lets see...

"A provisional application for patent is a U. S. national application for patent filed in the USPTO under 35 U.S.C. §111(b). It allows filing without a formal patent claim, oath or declaration, or any information disclosure (prior art) statement."

Oops, lets not forget...

"Since provisional patent applications are easy to file, not to mention the fact that they carry the name 'provisional', a fair number of these applications may be hastily drafted. If regular patent applications with fuller disclosures are not filed until the one year time period for filing a regular application is nearly expired, other parties may file conflicting applications (with better disclosures) in the interim and the first-to-file party may well loose in a contest with the second-to-file party if the disclosure of its provisional application is deemed inadequate to support the claims of its subsequently filed regular application."

Can anyone say Tippmann filed a full regular patent disclosure before PTP?

See fellas, the Devil is in the details....always question the *facts*!

No, thank you again. Its been a pleasure.
