All the info in this thread just hits ya like a brick, eh?
I just drilled my actuator. Third time's kinda the charm. Tehres seriously gotta be a better way of doing this.
I snapped my drill bit after I caught a burr. I mean I had the cordless drill on low torque, and it was on a very low rpm. I caught a burr, so I flipped it on reverse, started to back out, the thing twisted even more and the bit just snapped!
Tomorrow I'm making a home depot run.
I kinda got the hole tapped (its a bit crooked becuase the bit went crazy on me). The QEV is mounted, but its not too strong. I'm hoping some red loctite, possibly even epoxy will do the trickfor a seal. I wont be going over 40PSI so it should be no biggie.
Stared the hackjob on teh riv-nut, and broke a dremel fitting. I had no way to hacksaw it becuase if I clamp it down, the clamp bends the riv-nut. I tried stickign the screw into it, and it just messed up teh threads. Its only a .30 piece...
Got a job interview at BostonPB on Monday, so I'm quite pumped over getting my mag ready, thsi new job and all sorts of stuff.
Look out world, Alpha's commin'.
