If you overshoot and/or wipe when you play with me then you are NOT beter than me. You are a cheater and you suck. Come to my field and try wiping and see how quickly you end up on the "banned for life" picture board....
It's attitudes like this one (call it "ego" if you want) that are ruining the "sport". unfortynatly I feel like I'm in the minority with my opinions about "good sportsmanship" anymore.
I play recball (woodsbal). I play to shoot balls. I play for the rush I get from the "danger" that I'm in. I play because I like it. If I get tagged and "loose" so what? In a few minutes I'll be on the field feeling the rush again. I "win" every time I play regardless of how many times I was tagged and/or how many people I personally tagged. I cannot "loose" to anybody if they play fair and follow the rules. Nor can anybody else "lose" to me because I ALWAYS follow the rules. You only "loose" when you cheat and/or are cheated.
