First of all, turn the velocity down. That increases the amount of pressure going into the valve (remembe,r the bakc half is a regulator), so you're overpressurizing the marker.

You're going to need carriers, 3 or 4 shims (LX style), and at least oen carrier O-ring. Like stated, check Rogue's store for them.

When it leaks out the back, it means you have the reg up too high. Turn it 1/4 in the coutner-clockwise direction and it should stop.

The carrier inside the powertube is too small. You need to switch to a larger one.

When I say small or large, I mean the inside diameter. Carriers are there becuase pretty much every batch of O-rings for the powertube are different. In order to compensate for different batches, you need to use a carrier of the appropriate size.

Always use the same o-ring when trying to find the right carrier.

There is a little rod inside the bolt that actually slides in the powertube and goes through the carrier. The o-ring I'm talking about makes a seal around this small rod. Right now, the seal is way too hard for your bolt.

To compensate, remove the powertube tip from your powertube. For powertube disassembly, visit my website and go to the mag tech section.

Once you have the powertube off and its contents out (leave the white backing washer in there, dont make it a habit of taking it out), look at the carrier you removed.

CArrier sizes are represented by the lines and dots on the side. One dot = .5 . One line = 1.0

So a carrier with 2 lines and a dot is the 2.5 carrier.

Find out the size carrier you have, and go up one half size. So if you have a 2.0 carrier, go to the 2.5.

REmember to remove the white o-ring from the carrier that was in your powertube. This is what we're tuning.

Shove everythign back in (the carriers go in o-ring first). If there were any shims in teh powertube, remove them as they may cause it to leak down the barrel.

GAs it up and see.

IT should be better.

If its not good enough, open up the powertube, and add one shim between the top of the carrier and the bottom of the powertube. Jsut take off the top and stick one in there.

Try it now. It may leak, or it may be even faster. If it leaks, just go ahead and take the shim out, you should be okay for now.

If it doesn't leak, you can try to add one more. Follow the same procedure, and if it leaks, just remove one.

Let me know if you have any more trouble, and as always, I can tune the bolt for oyu (I just need your valve, bolt, and any contents it came with). My price is $20 shipped.
