what is the inner diameter of your hose? and you are talking about the line that goes from the regulator to the solenoid correct? I actually use a 5/32 hose there instead of the specked 4mm because its a little smaller. it fits the barbs tighter and prevents blow off. By the sounds of it, my hose kit does the exact oposite of your mod. I actually reduced the ID instead of increasing it. 200 + sold now, and 0 complaints. as long as your hose fits the connectors provided, you will increase your post regulator volume (not by much) and without changing the barbs "higher flow" will not be obtained. I ran a stubby CP reg on my ion and had no recharge or shoot down issues with the dwell adjusted properly.
Not sure you will gain any performance but a good cheap source for replacement hose.
**Edit, are you talking about the macro line? If so, please don't recomend someone run a 300 psi line there. If you have some bad line, then let me know and I can get you some better stuff.
