Hey, what kind of gun do you have? Some require a little bit more care. You should oil it before you store it, and before/after you play. I strip my 98C after a day of playing, use a napkin or something to clean the bolt and everything off, then put a few drops in.
Oil all of the moving parts. If you don't want to take your gun apart then just cock it, oil in front/the front of the bolt. Uncock it and oil the back of the bolt and where it slides. Take off your barrel and oil behind the threads (where the balls come down). You can oil where you attach the Co2 if you wan't as well but you don't have to...uhmm...yeah that's all I can think of.
But if you should strip your gun to oil it right, because there are springs you can't reach from the outside.
