sounds to me like a tippmann is the right choice.
8 and 10 is very young, which is ok! it's just that many fields have a minimum age of 10-12 years old.
ofcourse if you're not playing at a field then that's no problem.
if you're not going to play at a field, you may want to get a hand held chronograph ($70+ i think) so you can make sure the guns are shooting at a reasonable velocity.
