yeah tippmann power packages are the way to go.
good going on getting them paintballing young, if they stick with it, they'll thank you later when they can mow everyone by the time they are 12 and 14.
make sure you get a hand held chronograph. thoes tippmanns out of the box can shoot at dangerously high velocities.
