I saw a kid with one at my field back at home once. I was eating lunch and walked down to watch the woodsballers play and some guy was decked out in camo, and all this gear that I assume he thought looked military/SWAT like. Of course he was toting a $500 armotech POS, remote and everything. All he did was sit back at the closest pallet to the start and try to "snipe" people that were over 150 yards distant. Needless to say I just kind of sat there and laughed at him with some refs. Intimidation factor? I suppose someone fresh to the sport would see it that way, but after the first game you would realize that he sucked, so no matter how much extra plastic he paid for didn't matter much.

As you can clearly tell I dont care much for these companies putting out these extremely overpriced spyders and marketing them to newcomers to the sport. I think they are pretty damn cool, and perfect for scenario games and really avid woodsballers, but I dont agree with the companies marketing towards new kids who waste so much money on a gun not right for them.
