Unfortunately I need the drop because I have larger hands and even the smaller tanks squeeze my hands up against the back of the gun which causes bad bruising. Also I already had the freak kit for my other markers. The one piece barrel it came with is nice but the weather changes a lot in my area so the paint changes with it. Too better explain there are only 4 inches and some change space, my hands are 4 1/2 inches wide. It is not like the 06 Ego star trigger frame, it is completely different because it is more compact. You can’t see the difference but your can feel it. I was in the middle of a couple games when my hand began to bruise. They didn’t have any spacers so I got the drop from a limited selection; the balance is actually perfect with it on. Also before I got it, the tank unbalanced the gun and I couldn’t pull off a roll n' snap comfortably. I cant post a picture because its a pain in the ass to remove the drop so I will not do it again. That is a smaller tank, so ratio it.
