General ICD marker FAQ

Barrel Threads:
- 1998-2003 (the year) ICD markers take ICD threaded barrels.
- 2003.5 (the year) and up markers take Autococker threaded barrels.

Feedneck Threads:
- All ICD markers take ICD/Bushmaster/BKO/Freestyle feedneck threads ONLY!
- Despite what you may have heard, Ion/Shocker/Imp threaded feednecks will possibly damage the threads on both your marker and feedneck.
The pitch is the same, but thread size is not. Ion/Shocker/Imp feedneck threads have smaller threads then ICD/Bushmaster/BKO/Freestyle threads and will not seat right.

Compatable Grips: (Bassed off of stock trigger frame only)
- Any and all 45* grips will fit on stock ICD trigger frames.
- There is a slight problem with Dye Sticky 3 45* frames however. The rubber backing will not fit over the clamshell frame of Promaster and Freestyle markers and needs to be cut off.

High pressure Regulators (HPR):
-All aftermarket and various stock marker HPR's will fit on ICD markers.
-Side mounted air inlet regulators do have problems fitting on Bushmaster markers without an aftermarket forward ASA, but if the 90* elbow is screwed in enough, they will fit.

Bottomline set-up: (Bassed on stock ICD trigger frames only)
-Any bottomline ASA that uses the standard two hole mounting system will fit ICD trigger frames.

Lubing and Cleaning of Markers:
When lubing your marker, it's necessary to know what to lube and what to lube it with.
-Dow 33 Silicon Grease, Dow 55 Silicon Grease, and Lithium Grease (Not white lithium) bassed lubricants are the only types of lubes you should use on ICD guns.
-It is not necessary to lube your marker after every day of play, but it wont hurt any. Usualy, you should lube and clean your marker after every case of paint (~2000 paintballs) has been shot.
-All you need to lube is the ram/hammer assembly and both marker regulators as well as any o-rings which travel back and forth.

Adjusting Marker To Reach Velocity: (Bassed on stock ICD Markers and ~300fps (200mph))
-First, make sure the regulators are turn all the way off before airing your marker up. Doing so will help prevent damaging anything say your output pressure from the tank is wrong.
-Start with the HPR. Turn it up until it reaches ~250psi on the inline gauge.
-Next, adjust the LPR. Slowly turn in the LPR clockwise until you hear a slight leak from the trigger frame. Once you hear that small leak, back the adjustment screw out (counterclockwise) 1/4 - 1/2 turns.
-You should now be within a safe velocity and you can adjust your HPR up or down to fine tune the velocity.

DO NOT USE CO2 ON THESE GUNS EVER! USING CO2 CAN PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE REGULATORS AND SOLENOIDS.
