Try the pcv tubing idea. Make rectangular bunkers with upside down T's on the end for feet so they can stand on there own. Get some heavy mil black plastic from the hardware store and roll it around the edges of the frame. Use duct tape on seams. Make a tube out of the plastic for the pcv frame to slide thru. Knotch the corners so you can dis-assemble it and store it when not in use. If they start to want to fall over drill holes in the feet and stake it to the ground with house gutter nails.
Each bunker should cost around 10 bucks. They will be real easy to clean too. Just hose it off before you put them away. If you and your buddies make them, you should set a standard upright height of lets say 4ft and if you all make them from the same size tubing, you can link them together. It just depends on the elbow pieces you can find.
