My brother has a remote line, he loves it. He runs it up though his BDU's and has a hole on the inside of his sleeve near the cuffs, he never gets snagged. Just a suggestion if you do get a remote.
(Oh bye the way he said the only draw back to that method is that its uncomfortable to do it because of the coils on the line)
