Ill get in depth with this.
Smart Parts was stupid for even mentioning CO2 in their manuals.
It will run on CO2, but as you shoot faster, it will freeze up. This is BAD!
When the CO2 gets cold enough it starts effecting the seals, macro lines, the solenoid and will screw them up.
Sucking in liquid CO2 would be catastrophic to your gun, thus this is why they say Anti-siphoned tanks. Anti syphon attempts to prevent liquid from entering your gun, but it is for sure impossible to prevent this tottaly.
SUre, it will run ok on CO2 for awhile but eventually it will screw it up and you will end up spending more money on fixing it then purchasing an HPA tank.
Why use HPA? Becuase its air. Plain and simple. Because its just air it doesnt freeze up when shot.
So dont risk it, Buy an HPA tank.
