I see this is your first post, so Welcome.
The Amp uses Spyder threads. Which is also used on piranhas.
As for discontinued, im sure it is. The zap guns, although I thought were decent markers, never seemed to catch on in popularity.
Now for the upgrades, any spyder barrel will work. I am not sure about the trigger, I will look more into it though. Any loader will work fine on it also.
