They don't have many boards. I think they have 2... Anyway, it sounds like the board is shot. The best board that you can buy that I know of is the omen 1.5 board (the stock on the 2.0). Its nice because it allows you to set a debounce. The omen can easily out-shoot an ion. Good choice
