Kick can be solved afew ways.
1. Get a reg and lower the operating pressure by installing a reg. (My 98 will work down to 300 PSI)
2. Get a lighter drive spring (Less force moving the hammer and needed to recock it)
3. Reduce the mass of the hammer.(Force = Mass * Velocity)
The spring will also afect the rate of fire. Harder springs will cause a Higher right of fire and will need a higher pressure to recock the gun. Lighter springs will Slow down the rate of fire and lower the pressure need to operate the gun.
The down side of messing with the drivespring and presure is that some times it is a pain to crono the gun.
Get things set in this order.
Choose and install spring/ set tention
Set Reg to the right pressure for that spring
Use the Stock Velocity adjuster to dial in on 280fps (or what ever your feild limit is)
