Use dow 55 lube (or a dow 33 based lube if dow 55 isnt available) on your fusion. DO NOT lube the bolt.


When cleaning your fusion, a damp (but not soaking) rag can usually get most of th edirt and grime off the outside. Use Q-tips to get into small spots.


You do not need to lubricate the bolt at all. Just wipe the bolt down and dry it off occasionally. Some manuals have a miss print that says there are o-rings on your bolt, there are in fact no o-rings so dont get your panties in a bundle.

To take the bolt out, pull up on the pin that connects the bolt to the lower tube. Then pull the bolt out the rear of the gun. Wipe the bolt down, then re-insert it back into the body. A small amount of oil can be used on the pin to keep it sliding in and out of the bolt nicely.

Here is a break down on how to take your fusions striker out and clean it:
~Lift up the locking pin and turn the cylinder 90 degrees, then pull the striker and main pin out.
~Pull the striker out from the ram cap. Lube the back two o-rings of the striker with gel type lube. If they look badly worn or cut then replace them.


If your eye sensors are dirty it wont read paint, and that will probably cause some frustration for you. Here is how to clean them:
~Remove eye covers from the side of the gun.
~Be careful, and pull the eyes out. Wipe down the eyes (and detents if you want, since your right there)with a cotton swab.
~Put the eye sensor (and detents) back in, and re-attach eye eye covers.

~Remove your asa and your hoses. Also remove the two screws on the top and bottom of the grip.
~Disconnect your eye wires and solenoid line, then disconnect the grip frame from the body.
~Turn the firing valve screw (found under the body) counter clockwise.
~Push the firing valve out of the body with a tool of some sort.
~Perform basic maintenance and re-insert back into the body. Re-assemble the gun.
