I have been playing for around 4 years now on a casual basis mostly with friends in the woods, but the occasional field game and speedball, I used to use a friends 98 custom and it is a great gun and reliable as its reputation says. I have a flee market bought old spyder now that is reliable, but old and I was thinking of upgrading and maybe getting a little more serious. Would you suggest the 98 custom or the A5 is my general question.

other questions:

Is the A5 as reliable as the 98 custom?

Is it a huge upgrade for the 100 dollar cost difference?

How is the stock A5 barrell? And I know what a Response trigger is but what about the other addons? What would you reccomend for someone who is not new to the game but wants to play a little more.
