Actually, I've run HPA at the local field a couple times and even tested the difference because I almost bought a $100.00+ 68/4500 HPA tank. Dont get my wrong, its more consistant than C02 but its not needed on a Tippmann. Now if he actually goes with the VS3, he should definitely run an HPA. My only gripe is that people pretend that upgrading to HPA from C02 is going to change your game and it wont for the most part. Even using HPA, I had differences on chrono of about 7FPS. Granted, I've hit a difference of 13 fps using a C02 tank. I've run about 6 fills from a 20oz CO2 tank and 4 fills from a 12oz C02 tank and I've yet to experience a large "spike" in pressure. Then again, I'm running a remote line. Also, you can use an anti-siphon C02 tank on all those $500.00+ marker.
