the hopper and mask that come in that package are a joke. Buy the tippman seperately, or better yet find a used one. The quality of the ones made in the last few years has dropped.

As for a mask pick up something nice, not that...thing. I guarentee it will fog up in seconds and wont' be comfortable at all. Expect to pay upwards of $60 for a nice mask; it may seem expensive, but you'll never regret it.

the gravity fed hopper can be had for $2 at any store with a sporting goods section that sells paintball things. What your'e looking for though, is something that'll agitate the paintballs so you dont' have to shake the marker every time it doesn't feed.(which happens nearly every shot) the viewloader revolution(or revy) are dirt cheap and are the best hopper for doing this. You'll see other faster, more expensive hoppers out there but for what you'll use it for, the revy is the best choice.

The teardrop is a good barrel, bu also look into the J&J ceramics brand. why you ask? Because they are coated with ceramic on the inside, meaning if you chop a paintball (and you will) it shoots out the mess in a few shots rather than you needing a squeegee. during a game this is a lifesaver if you get a break when you are in the middle of shooting at somebody. Obviously you'll want a squegee to clean it out the right way after the game is over.

You don't need a chest protector unless you have some sort of condition that requires it. Thousands of people play without them. Go play for a day without one then re-evaluate if you still want one.
