Tippmann guns are generally aimed towards the market of players that are just getting into the game and don't want to spend loads of money on a marker. They are built for durability and to be easily maintained. However, there are ways you can upgrade them into a better gun that suits your style of play. The point is, is that they are guns that most likely everyone here has used once and many still use them. I would say No, they are not just for noobs.
