uhhh, i think the thread has gone a bit off topic...

personally, i wouldn't consider myself a noob...i still have my old tippmann 98c, i'm trickin' it out as the funds become available to me because i wasn't completely satisfied with the way it was running. Thats tippmann's sell point, most of their markers are almost completely customizable. i mean if you saw my 98c you would only recognize it for the receiver halves, i've even swapped out most of the internals.

i'm only looking into another marker because i'm trying to get into speedball and agree with most in that the 98c is not a good marker for speed

my opinion: tippmanns are good for beginner players knowing that they will outgrow them so they can then up them to their liking when they become more experienced
