SP1 is not bad by any means, my thing against smart parts in the last few years is that it seems that they are coming out with better ways to sell over better ways to make a marker, for instance the sp1, they SAY it is capable of 15 bps, but what they acually mean is the softwear is capped at 15 the actual mechanincal side of it can manage 12-13 stock, you have to upgrade it to get it to shoot 15.

but that aside, from what iv seen it seems to hold its own, i would say just start out with co2 and if you wana upgrade to HPA (high pressure air) later you can, not to mention you will get more shots out of a 20 oz co2 tank (tank not can, just to help you out) than you will from that 47/3000 tank you were looking at.

but beyond the marker, get a good mask, cant stress that enoufgh, find one with a thermal lens (double lense are the best by far) so it wont fog on you, this is the best piece of equipment you can invest money in

as for the hopper, the ricochets are ok, ill always suggest a force feeder over an agitator though, as far as agitators go, in my opinion the halo TSA hoppers are the best agitators on the market, and a vl force would do good for a foce feeder

stock barrels are another thing that generally gets replaced rather soon, for the price the J&J ceramic barrels cant be beat ($30)

and i would recomend just putting together your own package, you get a lot better stuff that way instead of having to replace things

if your mind isnt set on the SP1 you may also want to look into the spyder VS1, definatly faster and has eyes so you dont need to worry about chopping
