I hate to say this because this guy is my friend and an ER Doctor by the way. (Sure hope he's not reading this.

)
I brought along a friend for a scenario game a few years back. I loaned him my Spyder Xtra for the match, he had never played before. We were tagging along with a well organized Scenario team that plays quite a bit locally. These guys are very into the scenario games and have all the military sim gear to show for it. I hold up in a large cedar tree near a clearing where I think the bad guys may come through on the north edge there. We had just broke from a briefing with the Captain of our squad where we decided a game plan.
Well, I hear a slow fire like someone is lobbing paint pop, pop, pop... Pause. Pop, pop, pop... I look over and it's my friend shooting at the captain of our team whom we had just been sitting with during the briefing. The captain yells more than once, Stop shooting me! I'm on your team! The second round turned into, What the ____ are you doing? I'm on your team! He was maybe only 20 to 30 yards away from my friend and obviously you could see that he was on our team. the bad guys were more than 100 yards away. I then hear, Oh, sorry! I am still laughing over that one.
The friend has not played since but I continue to invite him.
