It might. The thing with Tippy fans is that they are convinced that Tippmanns are indestructible when in fact they are made of the cheapest possible materials. The SP1 is a great budget marker but I haven't heard anyone going on about them being indestructible.

For any serious rec baller looking for a reliable mech I'll recommend an Automag every time it is a proven design and the fact that ten year old mags and older are still in action on fields today backs that up. There are also plenty of third party videos showcasing mags in action. They might cost a bit more but not everything cheap is a great value if you want speed check out the rest of Zak Vetter's videos the rapid firing mags aren't modified in any way anybody can get them ripping that fast no batteries required and the level ten bolt works better than break beam eyes. My only complaint about Automags is that they are a bit heavy on the air usage and can't dip too far into a tank but if your field has free fills that isn't much of an issue.
