I never stated that Basketball became a big thing becouse of what players wore..I stated the companys like nike made it to were it was accepted, and also broadend it audience..((please read my previous comments))
that's viable, but where in paintball do you see this occurring that bring paintball into the living room?
you stated "The players wear what sponsors pay them to wear"" really.. your stating that everyone that plays-is sponsered...When I say this, I'm referring to profession players who ARE sponsored and wear what they're paid to wear..or are given by their sponsors. Said style should be coming from the professionals, if I understand what you're saying.

Exactly; a marketing scheme. I'm not saying it's any different than any other endorsement that's ever been made. People buy into to because the company gets a big name to vouch for it and that's how the world runs. Frugal people see past it and get what is affordable and works just as well.
