speedball is played on a small, contained field covered in bunkers. It's generally a fast-paced game with lots of paint being thrown around. The bunkers can be made of anything. plastic pipes, large spools, air-filled bunkers, plywood, etc etc.
speedball is not mil-sim in any way either.
