Yea most E markers should not let that much water in that it breaks the board. The only time i've heard a board breaking is when a kid dropped a shocker in the river at my field.
And about the apex thing, if you chrono your apex barrel on setting 5ish to 280 wouldn't that be enough for a break?
When i had my spyder with apex i'd chrono it to about 285 and about 80% of the balls that hit the players broke(I was during the cold season, thata maybe why?) But I'm pretty sure during the summer heat it'll have a harder time breaking.
