Agreed with toxic, without actually incresing the amount of air coming from the valve to push the ball out, the only thing you can do to increase distance is to add backspin with a flatline barrel. Of course there'll be those that will tell you that having a flatline or apex is sacrificing speed for the sake of distance and that it's a waste of money, but i'm almost sold on at least the apex tip, it's a very convenient thing to have in a woods game if you know how to use it well.

Go on to youtube and search for "the autococker show of death". It's 45 minutes long but well worth watching for new cocker owners.
