I've only shot the F7, never had an F8 in my hands so i'd be a poor comparison point. The eyes are standard, dunno what the lingo for eyes is but itīs one IR emitter LED on one side and one IR receiver LED opposite to it.
From what iīm reading the F8 is a little lighter and smaller and has a better solenoid, but otherwise seems it's pretty much the same internally with a few improvements here and there.
