Very true with the way a gun operates, and extremely false with the way a paintball gun operates. Although to be specific, you need about 6 inches of bore length on a paintball gun barrel to get consistent accuracy.
Anyway, Inverts are great guns for the price. Just remember that speedball isn't anything like what you're used to playing, so don't be scared to ask for tips from the more experienced players, and be prepared to get shot a lot.
