so i just recently bought an icon z nib, it came with a bag of some replacement parts and within this bag there is a silver screw with the head a size of a thumb screw and in this there is a black allen wrench screw, also, there appears to be an o ring on the shaft of the silver screw.

does anyone know what this is?

that's your velocity adjuster. it screws into the back of your marker.

let me explain

I don't see where this would go bc on the valve spring there is a silver rod held in by a black plastic piece this is locked on by the quick release

i don't have a clue where the velocity adjuster could possibly go.

and the small allen wrench is for fine adjusting?
