Starting to? It has been for too long. Some of the "indie" bands and hardcore bands w/ emo traces are good, but straight up emo and emo-pop bands can blow me.
This reminds me of a story though.
A few weeks ago I had to give my neighbor a ride to school for a little while. I had Poison the Well in. After the second track is done she goes through all the songs and hears they all scream a bit and goes "Who is this?" "Poison the Well." "I got an idea, I'm going to put in the Used. " (Not one of my high liked bands) "Uh, Ok." She begins to look through her purse and CD's. "Wait! Have you heard of Yellowcard?" "Don't think so." "Oh, they're really good, you'll like them!" I listened to 2 or 3 songs and said "Hey, lets listen to Bob and Tom. That's funny." And turned the crap off.
