How to not get screwed on Ebay.
1: Don't buy expensive things from people that don't have a crap-ton of feedback.
2: If you're going to buy something expensive, get in contact with the seller before you bid. Ask tons of questions. This will help you a: confirm they actually have it. and b: confirm the condition.
3. ALWAYS keep all emails, contact info, etc. from sales and purchases, in case you have to file fraud charges.
4: Don't ever bid before reading EVERYTHING in the listing. Never bid before you're certain it's for real.
As long as you're smart and ask all of your questions up front, you're chances of getting screwed aren't really that high. Just don't go around thinking you're going to get a brand new DM4 for $75, and you should be okay.
