to cap all guns at 5 bps would a- be impossable, cheater boards will allways be out there, it doesnt matter if they come from teh factory capped at 5 bps, you can just thrwo an aftermarket board in there if you want, and B- the style of play today is all about shutting down lanes and limiting the movement of the other team by laying down streams of paint. to put a cap of 5 pbs, tourney play would have to be reinvented. not to mention that people will be buyin 1/4 the amount of paint they previously were, so the paint companies are going to substantually raise teh prices to compensate for their loss of sales
