Chapter 3-
Waking up
Duo woke up to the sound of his snoring.
“What in the-?” He asked.
But then he got up and then looked at his calendar. It was the 1st of August, the world cup!
He looked at his notepad he had on his dresser and it was written in italics:
The World cup for the IPL is being held on the 24th where the world’s best players will meet in a battle for the best. Don’t forget to show up and play. Also, put your alarm clock to 9:20. Your due at the IPL meeting place in Lansdale at 11:50 AM. Show up!
He quickly ran over to his bathroom, took a shower, brushed his teeth and combed his hair. He then threw on his paintball cloths, which consisted for a Dye shirt, special pants he couldn’t pronounce then name of and some of his special shoes he bought for $300.
He quickly jumped in his Dodge Ram and started the engine. As he did he realized that the starter wasn’t working again. It would take him a good twenty times to get the sucker to start.
Twelve minutes later
Duo was finally driving out of his driveway and had his paintball gear in the back. His Autococker and everything, it would take him about an hour and a half drive to get to the complex and then there he would begin to get his team ready for their first game of the day.
