The best way to figure your actual BPS is to load your hopper with 100 balls and shoot them as fast as you can and time it with a stop watch. when done divide 100 by the number of seconds it took to shoot that many paintballs. If you are shooting over 13.7 bps you have your answer. If your number is close to 13.7 than you can say there is a cap. If you are shooting less than 13.7...well I guess it does not matter what the gun caps at because your slow ass will never see it.
