depends on the sponsor.
If you get sponsored by a store, then you might get discounts on equipment. Everyone gets different stuff depending on who sponsors them.
Depending on the sponsor, you might not have to win any tournies. Some bigger companies will only sponsor teams who win a couple tournies. To further your chances of sponsorship, play some tournie ball, build a resume, then ask.
